Marvis Malinda (Guhlke) Westerberg

Passed peacefully into God's arms at the age of 85 surrounded by family on Saturday afternoon at N.C. Little Hospice from pneumonia. Left to remember her life is her beloved husband of 62 years, William, loving son Daniel (and wife Paula, grandson Jonathan), daughter Susan White,(granddaughter Elizabeth & grandson Cooper), daughter Sally (and partner Brenda Pagel), daughter Sarah (and husband Chris, granddaughter Riley and grandson Cole), devoted sister Nathalie Christensen, beloved best friend and niece Madalynn "Maddy" Ronning, and her constant companion Henry her 16 pound Norwegian forest cat.

Marvis was our beautiful Matriarch and loving Mother, who would be as comfortable picking corn or sewing a prom dress, as she would be gracefully preparing a dinner for twenty (that could feed fifty of course). An exceptional an knowledgable gardener, her fondest pastime was feeding and watching the song birds she attracted to her back yard feeders. She and Bill settled in Burnsville in 1963, and are 45 year members of Ascension Lutheran Church, 1801 E. Cliff Rd. Burnsville, MN.

Visitation at the church on Thursday, February 28th from 10-11:30. Funeral service at 11:30 with luncheon following. Internment at Acacia Park Cemetery. Memorials to Church.
